Default Question of changing name using snmp tool

I have sent a blue print of watching cp firewalls by solarwinds,when we do a test it seems work well.But customer ask me a question that I could not answer,adjective...
For example:hostname of a juniper firewall is vpn-fw
community name of snmp is juniper
snmp sysname is juniper-fw1
So when adding a node on solarwinds,the name of node could be set as juniper-fw1,not the hostname vpn-fw.But cp firewall,when you add a node on solarwinds,name of node is just the hostname of firewall.He ask me whether checkpoint has this function?I find some datum but little help...
